Working with Tax Agents Draft Legislation

The consultation period for HMRC's published draft legislation on deliberate wrongdoing by tax agents closed on 28th April.

As part of Chartered Accountants Ireland's submissions work on behalf of members, the Northern Ireland Tax Committee headed by Eamonn Donaghy made a submission on this draft legislation. The submission is reproduced here.

HMRC have acknowledged our submission and have advised that a summary of all responses received will be published in due course. Readers will be kept abreast of further developments in this area.
