New Self Assessment Registration Forms for Partnerships and Partners Published
New forms are now available to enable tax agents and advisers to register new partnerships and their partners for Self Assessment (and Class 2 National Insurance contributions where appropriate).
The launch of these forms is in two phases. Initially the forms were targeted at tax agents and advisers only. HMRC will evaluate how this works and consider feedback from agents and their representative bodies to make any improvements needed.
In phase two HMRC will make the forms available to all Self Assessment customers. HMRC plan to do this before the end of the 2010/2011 tax year and will also update guidance on Self Assessment registration at that time.
