Per Revenue eBrief No. 15/12, we understand that Revenue issued reminder letters to the secretaries of companies whose Corporation Tax returns for years ending in 2010 are not on their records.

Revenue are advising, if such advice were necessary, that people should take action if they receive one of these letters. The usual health warnings about penalties for non-filing, the possibility of being selected for audit, and prosecution are offered. Don't forget that there is provision in the Taxes Acts for Revenue to target a Company Secretary for corporate default.

If a Return wasn't due, let Revenue know. We suggest not sitting on these letters.
