The latest version of Basic PAYE Tools to help employers run their payroll systems is now available. Basic PAYE Tools is a computer software package provided by HMRC to help an employer run their payroll throughout the year. It is a free tool to work out the tax and National Insurance contributions (NICs) for employees in each pay period.

An online guide explains what tools are contained within the application as well as how to download the tools and keep up to date with the latest versions.
