Letter to Minister Noonan on Ireland's Corporate Tax Regime
Chartered Accountants Ireland as a member of CCAB-I has written to Minister Noonan in the wake of the international and domestic debates on Ireland's corporate tax regime.
In the letter we highlight our concern that Ireland's international reputation has been prejudiced in light of the comments made by the US Senate subcommittee. We also request that the supports for the indigenous SME sector are not affected by reason of a focus on FDI incentives. The accountancy profession is asked to take all reasonable steps to clarify and explain Ireland's corporate tax regime. A copy of the letter is republished on here.
