Chartered Accountants Ireland, under the auspices of CCAB-I, have contributed to a public consultation on the potential of taxation measures to encourage development of zoned and serviced land.

In the submission, we outlined the necessity for a fully functioning banking system to support lending and thereby land development. We also suggest incentives geared towards expenditures and outlays of the developer such as Stamp Duty relief and a deferral of Capital Gains Tax.
