Outcomes and the recommendations were agreed recently by the Working Together (WT) Strategic Group.

Over the last year, HMRC has been having conversations with Working Together (WT) agents and Professional Bodies working out how to take the best of WT and move it to a digital platform. A Communication Pack is available on request which explains the rationale for moving WT to a digital platform, HMRC’s conversations with agents and how the plan is to transform WT in a digital age.

This means the end of traditional face-to-face local WT meetings with tax agents with immediate effect. These are being replaced with online services and a rolling programme of regional online meetings for agents.
