Revenue’s online portal for processing claims under the Help to Buy scheme is open for applications.

The scheme allows a refund of income tax and DIRT paid over the previous four tax years, to first-time buyers who purchase or self-build a new house or apartment to live in as their home. The online process comprises of two stages- an application stage and a claim stage. Revenue has provided guidelines on the application process.
