EU-China Strategic Framework for Customs Cooperation

European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Pierre Moscovici, and the Minister of Customs of China, Yu Guangzhou signed a Strategic Framework for Customs Cooperation for 2018 to 2020, setting out the priorities and objectives for EU-China customs cooperation for the years ahead.

The Framework reiterates the main objectives for EU-China customs cooperation for the years ahead. The areas of focus include protecting citizens and combating illegal trade through effective customs controls, along with speeding up and reducing administrative burdens on legitimate trade.
