OECD Secretary General’s report to G20 Leaders

OECD Secretary General’s report to the G20 leaders in Hamburg last week noted progress in the area of automatic exchange of information between tax authorities and the implementation of key measures to address tax avoidance by multinationals.

The report noted the implementation of the Common Reporting Standard with the first automatic exchanges of financial account information (AEOI) to take place in September 2017 along with the implementation of measures to address BEPS with the OECD/G20 framework now fully operational.
