Revenue 2017 Annual Report

Some €2.8 billion more in taxes, duties and levies was collected in 2017 by Revenue compared to the 2016 tax year bringing the total tax receipts to over €50 billion. The three main taxes, income tax, VAT and corporation tax were all increased and there were high voluntary compliance rates of over 90 percent across all taxes in 2017.
