Revenue have written to over 125,000 PAYE workers reminding them of the four year time rule for claiming tax back, tax credits and reliefs due. According to Revenue, the important things for PAYE workers to remember are:

• If you have a claim for the 2014 tax year, you will need to submit it by 31 December 2018; otherwise you will be outside the four year time limit
• You must submit your claim using myAccount in PAYE Services
• You can register for myAccount on the Revenue website
• If you add your bank account details to your myAccount profile, any refund due can be paid directly into your bank account.
