HMRC have 20 agent toolkits available for you to download and use. These have been designed to address the most common errors seen from previous years and include checklists of the key issues to consider in addition to links to HMRC technical guidance and manuals. HMRC have recently refreshed many of these toolkits.

By identifying the most common errors this may prompt a conversation between you and your clients to ensure submissions are correct.

HMRC also have various calculators and tools to help you work out your tax. A new calculator for childcare has recently been added to the list of tools.
