Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit: Appointment of experts to assist in audits

Each year, Revenue establishes a panel of experts who may be called upon to assist with reviews of claims for the Research & Development Tax Credit. The e-tender for the 2019/20 panel has now been launched.

Tax and Duty Manual Part 29-02-05 has been updated to include:

  • a link to the 2019/20 e-tender application process (footnote on page 2)
  • the introductory text for use at the initial meeting with the company (Appendix IV)
  • the current e-tender document template (Appendix V).
