Section 66 Penalty for issuing stock certificate not duly stamped, etc.

(1) This section provides for the cancellation of stock certificates to bearer, or instruments having a like effect, if the holder of the certificate has been entered on the register of the local authority or company or body of persons as the owner of the share of stock described in the certificate.

(2) This section also imposes a penalty of €630 on any person who issues a stock certificate to bearer or an instrument having a like effect, which is chargeable to stamp duty, without it being duly stamped.
