Revenue have published a 65-page guide to the completion of tax returns by income tax payers falling within Self-Assessment.

Most taxpayers will need to refer only to a small number of sections of the return and the guide. Though aimed at the self-assessed, taxpayers within PAYE who fill out form 12 may find useful information in the index to the guide. www.revenue.ie/forms/trg2005.pdf
