The Revenue have commenced a project on the development of electronic options for Relevant Contracts Tax.

An official at the Revenue Commissioners in the Dublin Region – Regional Office, Angela Breen, has been in contact with ICAI to advise that she is starting a project to investigate electronic options for RCT. It is anticipated that the project will involve a small number of Revenue customers and their agents who are involved in the administration of RCT. The visits will be on an informal basis. The purpose of the visits is fact finding and Angela has assured ICAI that she will not be checking if the RCT system is being administered correctly.
