Revenue have issued eBrief No. 25/2007 which contains a statement of practice on the tax treatment of share options granted in respect of employments and directorships, which specifically deals with the international aspects, together with an explanatory leaflet on the tax treatment of shares acquired by employees and directors under Unapproved Share Option Schemes.
