New Employer Service
At a recent TALC meeting, Revenue advised that there will be a single point of telephone contact for employer queries, with effect from 1 October 2007.
In addition, Revenue advised that going forward there will be two options to deal with recommencement queries (with Part 3 of P45; and without Part 3) – ROS (from July 2007) and the new single point of contact. The turnaround time for ROS should be less than using the single point of contact as the telephone service will be automated.
Revenue will be issuing an eBrief on the new Employer Service in the near future, including the all important telephone number.
