The European Commission has launched an online consultation to ascertain the views of businesses on the review of the existing legislation on VAT invoicing.

The Commission hopes to receive contributions concerning a selection of the recommendations contained in the Invoicing Study and other recommendations businesses may have. Interested parties are invited to submit their comments by 19 September 2008 at the latest. Comments may be sent by letter, fax or electronic mail to the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union at the European Commission.
