If you intend filing an online 2007/08 tax return, then it had to be filed by 30 December if the tax is to be collected through the tax code where the tax owed is less than £2,000. Otherwise you can send it online up to 31 January.

HMRC's Online Services Helpdesk is open seven days a week from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
