The European Commission has published the VAT rates applicable in the EU Member States as of 1 May 2010. The publication also contains further details such as details of the reduced VAT rates applied by Member States to goods and services contained in Annex III of the VAT Directive, cases where the zero rate is applied to consumption in the legislation of Member States, and geographical features of the application of VAT in the European Union.
