The Tax Strategy Group (TSG) papers, prepared in advance of the 2010 Budget and Finance Act 2010, are available on the Department of Finance website.

The TSG is a committee chaired by the Department of Finance, with membership comprising senior officials and advisors from the various Government Departments. The committee is responsible for examining and developing proposals for measures in the areas of taxation, PRSI and levies for the Budget and Finance Bill.

You will find reference in the Tax Strategy Group papers to the CCAB-I Pre-Budget Submission. CCAB-I's Pre-Budget submissions are routinely examined by the Government's high level Tax Strategy Group, thus affording our representations a similar degree of consideration to those made by the Social Partners.
