The main recommendations in the submission, co-authored by Chartered Accountants Ireland, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants are:

  • No increase to marginal tax rates
  • The linking of Public Service efficiencies with the timing of any tax increases
  • Schemes to generate funding for Irish Businesses based on loan capital
  • Incentives for world class executives to work and pay tax in Ireland as per the French “Impatriate” model
  • Changes to Social Welfare and Tax Incentives to support job growth
