Tax Agents and Advisers: Phone Calls from Agent Account Managers
HMRC advise that Agent Account Managers (AAM) are now beginning to phone tax agents and advisers to explain what services this team provides and the potential benefits for agents and, ultimately, their clients. Agents will be able to register for AAM services during the call.
It is intended that the AAM team provides the following services for tax agents and advisers:
- a streamlined process to resolve ongoing problems more quickly called the Agents’ Issue Resolution Service;
- invitations to HMRC educational events; and
- advance notice of HMRC educational products.
