As Members will be aware, a new RCT scheme is expected to be introduced from January 2012. To prepare for this new scheme, last month, Revenue contacted principal contractors to inform them of the main RCT changes, the potential implications for their business and what they should do to prepare for these changes. Agents who have one or more RCT clients who are principal contractors should have received a copy of the correspondence that issued and also a list of the principal contractors for whom they are listed as agents for RCT.
