Real Time Information Update

In November last HMRC spoke at a seminar in Belfast attended and watched online by over 100 members. The seminar contained guidance on getting prepared for RTI which HMRC is introducing to PAYE from April 2013.

As readers will no doubt be aware, the vast majority of employers are required to start submitting PAYE returns in real time in April 2013 and all employers will be routinely reporting PAYE information in real time by October 2013.

HMRC have also now published guidance on the penalty position for late and inaccurate PAYE returns submitted in real time for 2012–13 and 2013–14.
