Corporation Tax Reminder Letters Issued from Revenue
Revenue issued reminder letters to the Secretaries of companies whose Corporation Tax returns for 2011 have not been recorded as filed by close of business on Friday 25 January 2013.
The usual warning is offered to complete and file and submit payment in respect of any tax due to the Collector General as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in penalties for non-filing, will increase the possibility of being selected for audit, and may result in prosecution.
Revenue advises that if a return was submitted recently there is no need to contact Revenue. If a company is not obliged to submit a Corporation Tax return for an accounting period ending in 2011, the Company Secretary should advise their Revenue District.
