Income Tax Relief for Health Insurance

Revenue has updated Part 15 of their Tax and Duty Manuals to include the restriction of relief on qualifying medical and dental insurance premium policies renewed or entered into on or after 16 October 2013. The Manual is also updated to reflect that the Age-Related Tax Credit for medical insurance premiums ceased with effect from 31 December 2013.
