eDay Initiative

In an eBrief on the eDay initiative, Revenue requests business taxpayers to nominate bank accounts for payments and refunds, and agents are requested to promote electronic payment methods.

Under the eDay initiative since 19 September Government, local authorities and State agencies stopped issuing and accepting cheques from businesses. Members concerns on this initiative have been raised with Revenue and we continue to engage with them through the TALC forum.

eBrief No. 80/14 contains information on the eDay initiative and the Revenue electronic payment methods. Per this eBrief, the ROS Payment Support Unit (1890 226 336) may be of assistance to members who wish to discuss with Revenue their electronic payment methods.
