Rarely has the time-consuming and complicated compliance burden on employers been better encapsulated than in a recent Revenue eBrief regarding medical insurance and BIK.

Apparently some employers have returned P35Ls with incorrect amounts entered for medical insurance eligible for tax relief. The onus is on the employer to fix the mistake. The consequences are on the employee if the mistake is not fixed.
