Personal tax account test version launched
HMRC launched the test version of the new personal digital account. This has been launched as a private beta site which is being tested initially with invited users. The account will eventually bring all information for individuals together in one place, and will also provide some new services. The test version was announced on HMRC’s digital blog.
For now the account will provide:
- The ability to view your personal details
- A tax estimate service telling you how much tax you will pay through PAYE. This also allows you to check the information your estimate is based on – replacing the paper P2 tax coding notice
- Links to income tax-related online forms on GOV.UK
