New online service for tax agents

The Agent Online Self-Serve (AOSS) service enables authorised agents to see PAYE liabilities and payments statements for their employer clients. This is now open for enrolment if you are an agent registered for PAYE, and you have less than 200 clients in each of the PAYE, self-assessment, corporation tax and VAT online services.

This new online service lets you:

  • see your client’s PAYE liabilities and payments statements
  • access your usual HMRC online services for PAYE, SA, CT, VAT and other services that you’re enrolled for

There is a daily limit for enrolments to the new service. If the daily quota has been reached, you’ll see a message asking you to please try again any day from Monday to Friday.

If you currently share your Government Gateway user ID and password with other agents in your firm, when you opt for this service your colleagues will, in time, be opted in too. It is therefore important that you tell anyone else who uses the same login that their HMRC online services pages are going to change.
