Commission publishes non-confidential version of state aid decision against Luxemburg

The European Commission has published a non-confidential version of its decision that state aid was in place in the form of a selective tax ruling given by Luxemburg to Fiat. The Luxembourg government is currently appealing the European Commission’s state-aid finding.

Ireland is currently awaiting the outcome of an investigation by the European Commission into its tax arrangements with Apple. This investigation commenced at the same time that the formal state-aid investigation was opened against Luxemburg and the Netherlands in June 2014.
