On-line payment of taxes

A new on-line payment facility via myAccount is now available for customers who don’t use Revenue Online Services (ROS). The new facility is a method for individuals to make tax payments online similar to the current methods available to business taxpayers through ROS.

The payment facility will be provided via a link for MyAccount customers. RevPay will allow payments via debit or credit card or the setting up of a single debit authority and will allow for payments of tax, interest, penalties, audit settlements and attachment payments by fixed charge holders and payments due by tax defaulters.

Full online tax payment history will be available and taxpayers will have email confirmation of tax payments. Payments will also be immediately recognised on Revenue’s systems.

Revenue eBrief No. 57/16 on here contains further details and section 2 of the Tax and Duty Manual has also been updated.
