Revenue External Communications Strategy 2016-2018
Revenue has published its External Communications Strategy for the period 2016 to 2018. The purpose of the strategy is to ensure that Revenue communicate clearly with its stakeholders, giving taxpayers clear and timely information in order to ensure tax compliance.
The main communications priorities are to provide clear and consistent information to taxpayers in a timely manner, promote the Revenue Online Service and MyAccount and strengthen awareness of the serious and costly consequences of non-compliance. Chartered Accountants Ireland has been raising members’ concerns over customer service issues through the TALC forum and we will continue to do so in the context of this strategy.
