Payment of Local Property Tax by Direct Debit

Revenue has updated its Tax and Duty manual to outline procedures to follow when creating, amending and cancelling monthly Single Euro Payment Area Directive (SEPA) direct debit instructions for the payment of Local Property Tax.

Direct debit customers and their tax agents can now self-manage payments by logging on to the Revenue website. In order to access and manage the facility, a PPSN, Property ID and Pin are required. Revenue eBrief No. 70/16, which is available on the Revenue website, provides more details.
