Revenue is currently developing a new PAYE online system which will replace the existing PAYE Anytime service to enable taxpayers review their tax affairs online for the previous 4 years. To enable this, the Bill makes a technical amendment to the treatment of jointly assessed spouses to allow either spouse/civil partner elect to be assessed in order to use the facility.
