Revenue has announced a change to SEPA arrangements. With effect from 28 November 2016, the processing time to debit both ‘first time’ and ‘recurring’ bank accounts that are used to pay taxes via ROS and myAccount is three working days; reduced from seven and four days respectively.

Taxpayers are reminded to ensure that they have sufficient funds in their bank accounts to meet the payment amounts noting the shorter processing timeline.
