The Danish Finance Ministry formally relaunched its revenue authority last month. The overhaul follows a controversy where apparently some €900m reportedly went astray over a five year period via fraudulent refund claims for dividend withholding tax payments. The restructuring involves a decentralisation of responsibilities across seven distinct divisions with their own management and accountability structures.
