VAT registrations
We have heard from members of their experiences of delays in the VAT registration process and we continue to raise this matter with Revenue at the TALC forums. Revenue told us that improvements to the VAT registration process are on their agenda. A new dual registration system is expected to reduce the processing time for domestic registrations. Revenue maintain that often incomplete information to support VAT registrations is delaying the process.
