Revenue have published new guidance which sets out the treatment of payments to landlords received under the Repair and Leasing scheme. The scheme, which was launched earlier this year, is an initiative of the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government and was set up to bring vacant properties into social housing. It is aimed at owners who cannot afford the repairs needed to bring their property up to the standard for renting.
