There are Irish Chartered Accountants working in every major business centre in the world. Following an address at an international Academic Conference on tax simplification in Johannesburg earlier this month, director of Public Policy and Taxation Brian Keegan met with Institute members working primarily in the financial services and mining industries. This outreach is part of Institute President Feargal McCormack’s programme to recognise the contribution of the Institute’s diaspora. Events have also been held already in Melbourne, Sydney, Abu Dhabi, London and Singapore, with further events planned for other major centres in the coming months.
