Revenue has published preliminary results for 2018 which include data on tax collected, compliance rates, outcomes from compliance and enforcement interventions, number of customer contacts and resources deployed. The end of December 2018 exchequer records published in January show that tax receipts collected during the year amounted to over €55 billion which is a historic high with most of the tax being taken in from workers in the country.
