Updates to Jobs and Pensions online service
Jobs and Pensions is an online service that allows taxpayers, or their agents, to register new jobs with Revenue. Since 15 June 2019, users are also able to cease their jobs using the online facility and declare all social welfare income.
It’s important to remember that it is an employer’s obligation to register an employment in the first instance. However an employee may wish to register their job or pension in advance particularly where they want to allocate credits and rate band to the new employment. If it is a worker’s first job or pension then they must register the job or pension themselves using the Jobs and Pensions service. Read Revenue’s eBrief.
