Revenue opinions

If you are relying on a Revenue tax opinion or confirmation issued during the 2014 tax year and want to continue to rely on such opinion or confirmation, you have until 31 March 2020 to apply for its renewal or extension. This is because Revenue opinions and confirmations have a five-year life. Details are set out in Revenue Tax and Duty Manual Part 37-00-41.
