New ROS Offline Application

All users of the ROS Offline application should now install the latest Offline application Version 6.0 without delay. You can check the version by selecting Help/about on the offline application. The new version will be required for downloading all new forms or versions of forms released in the future.

Open the ROS Offline, Select Download, then select Refresh and select Upgrade the ROS Launcher. When the Launcher has been upgraded ROS offline will close. Reopen the ROS Offline, Select Download and Refresh to view options for the appropriate forms.

ROS Form 11 2007

The ROS Form 11 2007 is now available both online and in the ROS Offline facility. The offline version is version 8.

There are a number of changes included in this new return. The screens have been modernised to facilitate both Revenue and our customers, particularly using National Disability Guidelines.

The Form 11 will open on the Personal Details screen which now includes a ‘What's new?’ section to provide customers with details of the changes on the new return.

The Personal Details screen is mandatory and other sections of the return cannot be accessed until the Personal Details screen has been completed.

Some credits that were previously automatically granted on the basis of entries in the Personal Details panel must now be claimed by selecting a calculate button on the return.

The new return incorporates the new High Income Individual's Statement (RR1) under Section 485E Taxes Consolidated Act 1997. Customers required to complete this statement should elect to do so on the Personal Details screen and then complete the RRI return which is available on a new Restriction of Reliefs tab in the Return. A full calculation facility to include this RR1 return will shortly be available as an upgrade to the return.
