As readers are aware, the Client Notification Regulations came into force on 30 September 2016. These regulations impose obligations on certain advisers who provide “offshore advice or services” to specific clients, to send these clients an individually addressed covering letter from the adviser’s firm/business which includes a HMRC branded document.
