As mentioned in eNews of 3 November, ICAI hosted a survey on behalf of all of the representative organisations actively involved in the UK filing process. The survey was widely publicised by ICAEW, ICAS, CIOT, ACCA, ATT and AAT, and in the professional press.

As ICAI were working with the other Chartered Institutes and UK based tax representative organisations in discussions with HMRC on the ongoing development of electronic filing, it is important that ICAI know the views of its members on the key issues.
