The Tax Strategy Group (TSG) papers, prepared in advance of Budget 2014 and Finance (No.2) Act 2013, have been published on the website of the Tax Policy website at the Department of Finance. The papers, prepared for the TSG, set out the various options for Budget 2014 and cover the range of tax and social welfare issues.

The Tax Strategy Group is an interdepartmental committee chaired by the Department of Finance, with membership comprising senior officials and advisors from the Departments of Finance, Taoiseach, Public Expenditure and Reform, Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Foreign Affairs and Trade, Social Protection and the Revenue Commissioners.

The CCAB-I submission on the proposed changes to the Pay and File deadlines is referenced in the TSG Papers (TSG 13/05) and the bodies opposition to any change in the Pay and File dates is highlighted. 11 papers have been published on the Tax Policy Unit website either exactly as they were submitted to the TSG or as edited version of the original paper.
